Sport Medicine

Sport Medicine is a medical professional who provides significant specialized training in both the treatment and prevention of illness and injury to ensure maximum function while performing.    

A number of professional disciplines work within the designation of sport medicine providers.  Medical doctors, physiotherapits, athletic therapists, chiropractors and others, all play a specific role to ensure athletes can train and compete at the highest level.  Services available through these professionals include but are not limited to:

  • Medical Doctors: Medicial clearance, Concussion baselines tests & Return to Play protocols, Presciptions
  • Athletics Therapists: Movement assessments / acreens, Emergency care, Injury assessment and rehabilitation
  • Physiotherapists: Manage acute and chronic conditions, Function movement screens, Rehabilitation to normal activites
  • Chiropractor: Treatment of musculo-skeltal imbalances, Manual manipulation, Other modalities
