Sport Nutrition

Sport Nutrition is the attention to nutritional implications on athletes who routinely participate in structured sport activities.    

A number of sport dietcians are contracted throughout the region to provide these essential services.  All service providers are Registered Dieticians (RD) and hold an International Olympic Committee (IOC) Diploma in Sport Nutrition.

Services provides by these professionals include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a healthy body / eating workshops
  • Optimal hydration 
  • Enhance recovery strategies
  • Individual Dietarty Analysis

RBC Training Ground is here -  a day of physical challenges for athletes to showcase their podium potential.  To see if they've got what it takes to be Canada's next great Olympic athlete, athletes will compete in four exercises that include: 

POWER - Vertical jump

SPEED - 10/30/40 metre sprint

STRENGTH - Isometric mid-thigh pull

ENDURANCE - 20 metre multi sport shuttle run
